Both models are hydraulically powered and can be operated from a wide range of hydraulic sources. They are built with wear-resistant materials and hot-dip galvanized frames for long service life, and are suitable for applications in civil engineering, agriculture, construction, industrial maintenance, and emergency flood or spill response. The pumps are designed to handle water with light to moderate contamination, although they are not intended for heavy solids handling in the same way as the Reini R and S series, which are optimized for demanding slurry and solids-laden fluids.
